Amtrak

Pros: Relaxing. Cons: Some younger people were asking a staff member how to turn seats so they faced each other. The staff member, just kept saying “i have no idea. This is an old train they are fazing them out.”. Then he said the new trains were very cheap , went on saying “we hit a tree, and …..I thought just what you want to hear , when you are on a train! Same staff member would not bend down to help an older deaf man look for his phone charger that the deaf man suddenly pulled out of the outlet. I crawled under around to find his charging device. Then this same employee, when asked by the deaf person, how long til we get to St. Louis? Staff said forty minutes. This man asked him, to come and get him, because he couldn’t hear. The staff member walked away, chuckled and said, we’ll see. Of course the deaf person didn't hear him, but I did, this guy was RUDE‼️. Tips: Enjoy! Wifi sketchy.

Amtrak

Pros: Everything was on time which is very hard to come by nowadays. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Cons: The seats don’t recline at all so that would be a nice addition. Also the screens didn’t update to show what stop was coming up next so I had to wake up every time we stopped to see if it was my time to get off. Tips: Just be on time and have you ticket ready when you board.
