Rocky Mount is a beautiful part of Eastern North Carolina and has plenty of things to do for everyone. The pristine Rocky Mount Mills, the city's excellent (and kid-friendly) parks, restaurants, and locations to get some beer are among our favorites.

In Rocky Mount, there are a plethora of enjoyable opportunities to get outside and experience nature. Whether you prefer gaming, water, or hiking, they've got you covered. The Sunset Amusement Park, for instance, has a train, a splash pad, a carousel, a skate park, a playground, a disc golf course, tennis courts, and so much more! For $5 a day, you can use the park or rent it out for your next event.

The Imperial Centre brings together some of Rocky Mount's top attractions in one location. For starters, the Community Theatre is a great place to see and participate in a production. A hands-on science museum is also available for children. Your children will have a great time learning about and exploring the world around them. On-site is the Cummins Planetarium, which has the most up-to-date full-dome video and laser light performances. In addition, the Arts Center is packed with exhibits and courses where you can create your own masterpiece.

Wanda Coach services the area with a fleet of buses, and Amtrak has several train lines going from Baltimore, Washington, Newark, and New York to Rocky Mount.

Sitting at the heart of the Gulf Coast, Tampa offers a perfect blend of cultural attractions and relaxing indulgences. Infused with a colorful mix of Cuban and Spanish cultural elements, the city of Tampa houses some of the most impressive historic buildings in the state, including the Henry B. Plant Museum, which boasts a permanent exhibition of Victorian-era artifacts. Animal lovers can also rejoice, as the city’s many aquariums and zoos will certainly melt your heart. Head down to the Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center for some heart-melting cuteness. The principal train station in the city is the Tampa Union Station, which is also a historic building. It is currently served by Amtrak. At the station, travelers can also take an Amtrak Thruway motorcoach to get to Orlando, Lakeland, Bradenton, etc. The main airport is Tampa International Airport, which is located just six miles west of downtown Tampa.
