Amtrak Acela Express is Amtrak's Northeastern train travel route offering Acela scheduled hourly service downtown to downtown during peak commuter hours between New York, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and other intermediate cities, as well as many convenient round-trips between New York and Boston.

The Acela Express service is distinctive for its faster trips with fewer stops, at-seat electrical outlets, conference tables, adjustable lighting, large tray tables, at-seat cart Service on selected trains, and in-train Cafe. The first class accommodations and services also include complimentary at-seat meal service (breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections), complimentary newspaper and beverages, hot towel service, and access to ClubAcela and more.
