Pros
Comfortable and on time
Cons
The pull down trays recline too much so it’s not safe to put a drink on there. They could be a little bigger too.
Tips
A 2 1/2 journey went very quickly.

Pros
Excellent drivers, both of them, I had a connection at Victoria Station. So felt safe, and comfortable.
Cons
The information booths are difficult to find. One guy was indifferent and having misunderstood him, I went in the wrong direction instead of to the departures lounge. So nearly missed the connection to Sutton.
Tips
On the whole it was a good experience, would recommend highly.

Pros
It was nice that the bus wasn’t full. I could put on my headphones and take in the scenery outside my window.
Cons
I wish the driver had done something about the couple in the back of the bus. They could be heard aggressively arguing from Manchester to Liverpool. I honestly think they scarcely drew breath while cursing at each other. It made for a tense atmosphere. The WiFi would c...More

Is there WiFi on a National Express Coach coach?

Yes National Express Coach offers WiFi connection onboard their coach trips. Though most trips with National Express Coach will have WiFi as advertised, some trips might not come equipped with WiFi, and onboard WiFi can lose its connection in rural areas. We recommend you bring a book or download a film just to play it safe. National Express Coach WiFi is generally best used for surfing the web, checking emails and chatting with friends; you shouldn’t count on the WiFi to binge watch your favourite show.

Are there power points on a National Express Coach coach? Are there USB points?

Yes, there are power points onboard National Express Coach coach trips. You can generally find one or two sockets per row of seats, so be a good traveller and check if your seat neighbour might want to charge up their devices as well. With the onboard power points, you can charge both a computer and USB devices with a power point USB converter that typically comes with most phones and tablets. Since National Express Coach might sometimes use replacement coach vehicles, not all trips are guaranteed to have power points. We recommend to bring a power bank to charge your phone for all trips over 2 hours, just in case.
