13 August 2023- Visiting family

Amtrak Lake Shore Limited

Pros: It was so nice to be able to take the train from family to friends and not have the stress of having to stay awake trying to drive. Or navigate a new city. Cons: Maybe more charging ports spread out a little. If you get on and end up with an aisle seat, you must reach over the other person to use the outlet and not everyone wants to be a bother to the other person. Tips: Take the trip. Enjoy the scenery.

6 July 2023- Vacation

Amtrak Lake Shore Limited

Pros: The cafe opened and I could get a beverage of my choice, even though many food options were gone. Cons: Near the end of the journey from Pittsfield to Boston, both bathrooms in the car I rode in were non-functional. One was stopped up and the other seemed to have run out of water for flushing. This is a serious problem, in my opinion.
