8 July 2023- Visiting friends

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: Speedy travel, comfortable seating, easily accessible, nice staff. Cons: I had to deal with a rude person who was blaring audio from his phone at max volume, he had his dirty feet with no shoes on on the seat literally feet away from someone else’s face. Don’t think there was much staff could have done about it but still, that sucked. Also the train left at 4 in the morning and all the lights were still on. Tips: Get there early and get a good seat.

16 February 2023- Business

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: staff was very friendly and nice. Cons: for the stop at Alexandria, the doors would only open at the dining car. so they crowded everyone and their luggage into the dining car, the car with the least amount of space and seating. i felt that could have been better arranged.

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: The speed of my trip felt swift no complaints thanks. Cons: Build wings for the trains lol. Tips: Wanderu will find those deals. Ordering direct to Amtrak website more expensive.
