The majority of Toledo’s ground travel operates from MLK Plaza at 415 Emerald Ave. The station was named in honor of the late Martin Luther King Jr and opened in 1950. The station offers today’s travelers many amenities, including customer service staff, restrooms, and a Subway on-site. The station serves Amtrak’s Capitol Limited line from Chicago to Washington, D.C., as well as the Lake Shore Limited line from Chicago to New York City. The Ann Arbor Amtrak Station is located in the downtown area of Ann Arbor at 325 Depot St and handles most of the city’s rail transportation. The station is served by the Wolverine line, which runs from Pontiac to Chicago three times each day. Intercity bus service from Barons Bus Lines, Miller Transportation, and Greyhound also stop at the Depot St station. Metered parking is available on-site, and the station building includes public restrooms and a convenient taxi stand.
