Opened in 2016, the station serves as the main stop near Downtown Baltimore for the two largest bus carriers that conduct trips in and out of the city – Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Lines. The station is served by only one line of Baltimore’s transit bus network. However, a connection is also available to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County bus system. The modern station is located directly south of the historic 1888 Union Station, which now houses a hotel, several restaurants, and a wedding venue. Union Station is in the Wholesale District of downtown Indianapolis, within walking distance to eateries and hotels. There is even an underground, climate-controlled walkway from the station to the nearby Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, home to the Indianapolis Colts.
