Pros: Leaving from the GW bridge rather than midtown was convenient. Cons: The bus was over an hour late, and we only got a notification that it would be late a few minutes before it was supposed to originally leave, when at that point it should have been clear much sooner that it was going to be late. Then the app did not update properly and kept saying the bus had already arrived when it hadn't, so we did not have any real updates. Additionally, the tracker showed the bus had almost reached the station, but then the bus for some reason went back and forth across the GW bridge another time, further delaying by an additional 30 minutes. After this delay, there was no sense of urgency from the bus drivers, and each stop both in New York and Hartford seemed to last longer than necessary, with everyone fully seated for many minutes before we started to drive again. This experience did not seem worth the $60 trip cost. Tips: Anticipate many delays, the departure and arrival time will probably not be accurate.

Pros: Drivers were competent on both the arrival and departure route, despite crazy traffic.....restroom was terrible odor obnoxious on the first leg of the journey great improvement on the return leg...I would certainly travel on this bus again.....Even the ground staff at the terminal was very proficient. Cons: The smell of the restroom not human friendly at all. Tips: For guaranteed safety and by extension Comfort except for the restroom this is the desired choice of a seamless travel which is very affordable.

Make sure you confirm seats if you re traveling with kids underage. I had to call greyhound and pay an extra fee because our assigned seat was separated. Two seats were 6 and I was all the way in 14 row.
