Omaha's Amtrak station first opened in 1983 and today is a stop for Amtrak's California Zephyr train line. The station welcomes about 25,000 passengers annually. The Milwaukee Intermodal Station is the major transportation hub for rail and bus travel in Wisconsin. The station is Amtrak’s second busiest in the Midwest.
