Amtrak
Pros: They made multiple restroom stops on the way, and the driver was nice enough to check that I knew where I was going after he dropped me off. He made sure to not just leave me there but double check that I had a plan for someone to come get me. Cons: I’m quite tall and have longer legs, so the seats were pretty cramped. My knees touched the seat in front of me, and the person in front of the empty seat next to me reclined their seat, making it impossible to sit by the window. I couldn’t have fit behind the reclined seat if I wanted to. Although it was cramped it was totally bareable, and I was able to sit alone which helped with space. Tips: I had a super hard time finding where this bus departed from at PDX, there was no obvious signage and I thought I was going to miss it because I was driving around in loops trying to find where to go. The bus departs from the ground transportation area at PDX, there’s kind of just a lane to drive through with an island where people can stand, my bus came right at the end of the island where you first drive past.
