Pros: We are seniors. The conductor ordered the helper for us. When we arrived, the helper was waiting for us and loaded the luggage. Very good service! Cons: In case the ticket lost , anyone can use it. Is it necessary to check the passengers' ID when getting on the train?

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: The staff was very friendly and kind. Cons: I paid extra to exchange tickets to get into new Haven an hour earlier to see my dad who is in the hospital. Unfortunately we got delayed and even went backwards for about 20 minutes due to some issue with our crossing over to New York penn station. I ended up getting in at the same time of the original ticket and spent extra money and an extra hour on the train to do so. I would love if the tickets were just transferable based on destination. It was a hassle to rebook for an earlier time frame and also cost more money, yet it was the same trip exactly.
