The Albany Bus Terminal is a busy hub of intercity bus travel in downtown Albany. Jefferson Lines, Greyhound, Adirondack Trailways, and Peter Pan operate bus trips that stop at this station. The terminal has customer service staff on-site, as well as restrooms and a small cafe. Several parking lots are available around the station, and a hotel is available just down the street. It is only a few blocks to downtown Albany and the New York State Capitol complex from the station.

Opened in 2016, the station serves as the main stop near Downtown Baltimore for the two largest bus carriers that conduct trips in and out of the city – Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Lines. The station is served by only one line of Baltimore’s transit bus network. However, a connection is also available to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County bus system.
