Pros: Straightforward, simple, cozy, easy to book. Cons: Waiting a couple minutes before time of travel. I was early but the bus immediately started once it was time to leave. Tips: Arrive early as stated. It will leave without waiting. Transportation vehicle might change but just ask if it’s your trip.

Pros: The bus driver was late snd the one before did not let us get on the bus even though it was cold outside and ppl had bags with them. He rushed and i was surprise he had to delay time by stopping for gas on the highway. Cons: Courtesy if being allowed to sit on bus while waiting for late driver or a small discount for troubles.

Pros: My route was non-stop, direct and to the location. Cons: Police or guard at the locations, especially during the fall and winter months due to the time change,. Tips: I usually take the train, but definitely will take Our Bus in the future!

Pros: that I go there. Cons: The bus reeked of pee. There were no outlets to charge anything even though there said there was online. There was no mention that there was a drop off in Phili so was not expecting the added time. And the bus did not consider the Eagles game that was going on that night so we were stuck in traffic for over an hour. Tips: they were fine.

OurBus Cancellation Policy

Can I make changes to my OurBus ticket?
If your scheduled departure is more than 60 minutes away, you can cancel your original ticket for full credit that you can then use towards a new booking. Please note that you will need to pay the differnece in fare, if any, for the new reservation.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel your OurBus ticket up to 60 min prior to departure. Here are your options:

If you cancel your ticket within less than 24 hours and up to 60 min ahead of departure, you will receive full credit for the amount you spent on the ticket. The credit will appear in your OurBus wallet and you can use it to book another OurBus trip at a later point.
If you cancel your ticket more than 24 hours ahead of departure, you can choose to receive a full refund back to your original payment source.

Additionally, if you purchased travel insurance with Allianz when you booked your ticket on Wanderu, you can file a claim for reimbursement for a covered reason.

OurBus Baggage Policy

Each passenger is allowed to bring:

1 checked suitcase – it must not exceed 50 lbs (22.7 kg) and 62 inches (157 cm) in total exterior dimensions when adding length + width + height.
1 personal item (such as a handbag) that must fit on the passenger’s lap.

Carry-On Luggage Policy:
Carry-on suitcases are not allowed due to limited overhead space.
All suitcases, regardless of size, are treated as checked baggage and must be stored under the bus.

Bringing Extra Luggage
Need to bring more than one suitcase? You must purchase an extra luggage add-on. Boarding with extra luggage without a pre-purchased add-on is not permitted.

OurBus Bus Guide & FAQs

If you are planning to travel with OurBus, keep in mind that each passenger is allowed one large piece of luggage up to 50 lbs (23 kg) that can be stored under the bus. The total exterior dimensions (length + width + height) of the bag or suitcase should not exceed 62 inches. You can also bring one small carry-on bag that can fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.

Additional suitcases are $30 each. All extra suitcases need to be paid for, and this space is guaranteed.

Yes, there are power outlets onboard OurBus buses. You can generally find one or two sockets per row of seats, so be a good traveller and check if your seat neighbor might want to charge up their devices as well. With the onboard power outlets, you can charge both a computer and USB devices with a USB power adapter that typically comes with most phones and tablets.

Since OurBus might sometimes use replacement bus vehicles, not all trips are guaranteed to have power points. We recommend to bring a power bank to charge your phone for all trips over 2 hours, just in case.

Unfortunately, animals are not allowed on OurBus vehicles. The only exception is for trained service animals that are assisting passengers. Service animals need to be harnessed and under control for the duration of the trip.
