Cons: The boarding process in Reno was disorganized, late and communication was very poor. We have to wait almost 30 min outdoors to board just because no one bother to confirm when the train was coming. It was late by 30 min. Tips: The cardboard tags system for agents on board to verify destination of passengers is obsolete and ridiculous for this technology century. Get your technology up to speed.

Pros: I’m a huge fan of Amtrak overall and how relaxing the travel method is! Enjoyed a nice cup of coffee on the train and got to share the experience with friends. Cons: This was a peculiar trip as there was a lge unplanned group that was not on the conductor’s manifest. It created confusion boarding, and we weren’t able to occupy regular seats. We dis enjoy our short one hour trip from the viewing car. Tips: Being your own snacks 😊.

Pros: The train ride was so incredibly relaxing!! The train is so quiet and smooth. Watching the views and having the freedom to move about was great,too! Cons: Nothing I can think of. Tips: You can bring your own drinks/snacks which is helpful for a long trip.
