Pros: It was a 10 hour trip. NYC to Durham. I had the time, so I opted to take the train so I could look out the window, doze and regroup. I had the seat to myself which was nice. There’s a certain amount of randomness about train travel which appeals—who’s getting on or off, the different stops, etc. the scenery, the weather changes. The train arrived on time to the minute. Cons: The wifi was spotty. Otherwise the trip was as expected. Tips: Bring headphones.
