No pressure, no hassles, no frenzied hurrying around. Met some new friends. A bygone era reborn. Loved it! Will do this more often. Can't wait for the next trip!
The St. Louis, MO station compared to others is shabby and not in great place. They should move it back to Union Station.
Sit back relax and enjoy the ride.

I liked the wifi access on the Amtrak, allowed me to study for school on my way back to Chicago.

There is only one bus/train station in downtown St.Louis. No need to arrive hours in advanced here, 40 minutes is plenty. There is long term or overnight parking charged by the 24 hours at $9/day. Very secure.
