The Brampton VIA Rail station is located in downtown Brampton at 27 Church Street West. Local GO Transit and Brampton Transit buses connect this station to the Downtown Brampton Terminal for travelers continuing their travels by bus. This historic station first opened in 1856 along the Grand Trunk Railway line between Toronto and London. The current building, complete with a turreted entrance and large arching windows, dates to 1907. The station has three fairly spacious parking lots and restrooms. Aria Bistro & Lounge and The Keg Steakhouse + Bar are two popular restaurants near the station.

Designated as a heritage station, the VIA Rail Station at Kitchener is a one-story brick structure originally built in 1897. It is located on a narrow strip on the outer edge of the commercial center of Kitchener. Alterations to the original structure in the 20th century led to the current simple, horizontal design. VIA Rail trains depart from Kitchener's station heading to destinations including Toronto and Montreal. Local GO Transit and Grand River Transit buses stop near the station.
