Main departure station: Brampton Train Station

The Brampton VIA Rail station is located in downtown Brampton at 27 Church Street West. Local GO Transit and Brampton Transit buses connect this station to the Downtown Brampton Terminal for travellers continuing their travels by coach. This historic station first opened in 1856 along the Grand Trunk Railway line between Toronto and London. The current building, complete with a turreted entrance and large arching windows, dates to 1907. The station has three fairly spacious parking lots and restrooms. Aria Bistro & Lounge and The Keg Steakhouse + Bar are two popular restaurants near the station.
