VIA Rail

Pros: Really comfortable and friendly. Cons: At the Via train station in St. Lambert, there is no signage to indicate/confirm that my connecting Amtrak train to NYPenn Station would arrive at the station. All signage and schedules refer only to Via. No staffing- a nice Via info line and a conductor from a later train confirmed that Amtrak did stop at the station- time or other details unknown. Tips: Be assured that a connecting Amtrak train will stop at the station, even though the many Via passengers waiting for trains have never seen an Amtrak train. However, they will be very helpful to track down the info you need.
