Amtrak Ethan Allen Express

Pros: left on time. wide seats. Only 2 chairs not 3 like LIRR. arrived mainly on time, 10 minutes late. Cons: Patting on my seat came off. The escalator to go down to the train was broken, had to carry the bag down the stairs. Getting on was a little disorganized. But fine after. Tips: Ask for which way is the train going immediately.

29 January 2023- Solo travel

Amtrak Empire Service

Pros: The Red Cap service (which I used for the first time on this voyage) was exceptional. I have severe arthritis. When travelling alone (as I was this time), i need help and extra time to get on board and settled. I was most grateful for the friendly and exceptionally kind Red Cap assistance at both ends of my travel. Cons: I can't answer "Yes" or "No" regarding working WiFi on board. It fades in and out, as you are probably aware. I don't think there's much that can be done about it, given much of the trip, the track runs along the river bluff.
