Pros
The staff on board are really helpful, professional, and friendly! I would like to thank everyone for being responsible toward the passengers on board!
Cons
I guess the quality of the car itself must improve I mean we need more modern trains with better facilities on board. Moreover the travel time was too long on both ways going and back the train was delayed for a long time.I know accidents are inevitable!I guess I was no...More

Pros
Traveling by train in the US is very comfortable and easy. The seats are wide and spacious and often there is extra room to spread my stuff and work. There are power plugs on every row. The view out the window is beautiful.
Cons
Trains are often late, which one has to take into account before booking rides. The WiFi connection is quite slow.

Is there WiFi on a Amtrak Maple Leaf train?

Yes Amtrak Maple Leaf offers WiFi connection onboard their train trips. Though most trips with Amtrak Maple Leaf will have WiFi as advertised, some trips might not come equipped with WiFi, and onboard WiFi can lose its connection in rural areas. We recommend you bring a book or download a film just to play it safe. Amtrak Maple Leaf WiFi is generally best used for surfing the web, checking emails and chatting with friends; you shouldn’t count on the WiFi to binge watch your favourite show.

Are there power points on a Amtrak Maple Leaf train? Are there USB points?

Yes, there are power points onboard Amtrak Maple Leaf train trips. You can generally find one or two sockets per row of seats, so be a good traveller and check if your seat neighbour might want to charge up their devices as well. With the onboard power points, you can charge both a computer and USB devices with a power point USB converter that typically comes with most phones and tablets. Since Amtrak Maple Leaf might sometimes use replacement train vehicles, not all trips are guaranteed to have power points. We recommend to bring a power bank to charge your phone for all trips over 2 hours, just in case.

As back up, road warriors recommend taking a screenshot of your E Ticket. That way, you won’t be fumbling around in case your internet connection cuts out.
