6 December 2024- Visiting friends

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: I was going from car to car, hoping to find a seat alone as I am 75 and not so great on my feet. When I got to the club car I just paused thinking that I might sit across from a stranger. Attendant saw me and escorted me too a seat that had reserved and had some Amtrak info, etc. on it. He very kindly settled me there which was a dream come true my suitcase was right with me. I didn’t have to put anything above me. It was only an hour and 10 minutes to get to Boston, but it was so safe and I couldn’t have had better service. He even came out and told me when he had food and a pot of coffee. I probably reminded him of his grandmother, but he was great and so was the seating. Wonderful trip. Cons: I wish there was a lip up sign that told you what station you were at.
