Pros I loved that the bus was parked and waiting. I also loved that I could sit with my family, and that the seats were not assigned. I most especially loved that the bus stopped right in Fairfax, Virginia and we didn’t have to go all the way to DC. Cons The WiFi could be stronger. Tips You won’t regret choosing this bus.
Pros the water bottles were a nice touch! and it was nice to stop at a rest stop for 15 min to grab snacks and take a bathroom break. Cons seats were a little cramped but there were plenty of empty seats so we could stretch out!

Pros convenient departure and arrival points. Cons the staff at Washington union station check in spot was somewhat rude to us when we were trying to check our bags, unaware of the proper procedure. (no big issue, but unnecessary friction to first time users). The bus had no available water for passengers (as advertised), and the restroom has no lavatory or at least alcohol gel for hygiene. WiFi slow and intermittent. Two stops at rest stations for driver shifting, (quick ones though)

Pros We had a 30min delay due the initial bus did not have a/c. Worth the wait to get a bus w/ a/c. The man who checked us in, did so in advance, so we could readily board. Also, as I’m having to use a cane, he let me board 1st, so I could get a seat I didn’t have to walk to the back for. Very nice. Cons Wi-fi access Tips Bring a sweater as the a/c can get cold. They warmed it a bit after pit stop.

BestBus tickets are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. However, you can place your reservation “on hold” and receive a BestBus travel credit for a future trip, as long as you do so more than 24 hours before the bus is scheduled to depart. To place your reservation on hold, go to BestBus’ website to look up your reservation, and you will have the option of rescheduling your trip or placing the trip on hold. Once your ticket is on hold, you will receive a travel credit which can be used to schedule a new trip with BestBus for up to a year after your original purchase date.
BestBus tickets can be easily changed online following the same process. There is no fee for changing your ticket, but a difference in price would be charged if you exchange your trip for a more expensive ticket. Any changes must be submitted at least 24 hours before the original departure time.
Wanderu also offers an affordable trip protection option by Allianz Global Assistance that you can purchase when booking your tickets. In addition to 24-hour assistance during your trip and other benefits, trip protection can help you get your money back in case you need to cancel or change your BestBus booking.
