The station is served by Amtrak, which runs its flagship Acela and Northeast Regional services, and the MBTA, which operates between T. F. Green Airport, Providence, and Boston. Located in the city’s downtown, Providence Station sits opposite the historic Rhode Island State House and is within a stone’s throw of various shops and restaurants.
