That was my first time taking the train to Lancaster and I can say it was such a pleasure and I’m leaving my car home and allowing the train to take me to Lancaster with no worries

Pros: Beautiful view outside the window. Restaurant car))). Cons: very cold air conditioner. WiFi didn't work very well. Tips: The most convenient way to get to Pittsburgh is by this train.

Pros: Very spatious and comfy seats, cafe cart, the train arrived and departed on time. Cons: There was no WiFi the whole trip, even though it was promised. For the 10h ride, it's important to have some internet, especially that the mobile internet is very shaky along the train route. I had to buy more traffic on my prepaid SIM and still struggled with the internet, could hold a single work meeting or do any work. The staff was not helpful about it. Also, I needed to take a bike with me, and the Amtrak support told me the bike rack is all sold out for this trip. In reality, there was not a single bike occupying the bike rack! I had to carry the bike in a huge box to count it as a luggage and it was quite some effort. Tips: Make sure you have enough mobile internet traffic for the whole ride + arrive really early at the station (like 1h ago) to get assistance.

Pros: It was last minute, and I still managed to get a good deal. The Amtrak is almost always a great choice. Tips: Always try to upgrade! You never know.

Pros: the bus was late, and there was a big chance of cancellation. Cons: The schedule was not updated on the monitor. The TV was bad. Nobody was at the information desk. Tips: Don't trust their timings at all.

Staff are very rude

Pros: I was able to be incredibly productive. Plenty of outlets to keep my computer and phone charged. Quiet environment. Just enough humm to participate on a video meeting (with headphones) without disturbing others with my conversation. Cons: N/A. Tips: N/A.

Cons: Food items. Tips: If it’s your first time it will feel great.

Pros: Comfortable friendly. Cons: Cleaner windows.

Pros: The opportunity to sit back and relax. Enjoyed the quietness. Not dealing with air travel frustrations. Cons: The windows were so dirty that it was very difficult to enjoy the scenery. When the sun shined on them it became impossible to see put. That was very frustrating and upsetting because it defeated park of the allure of train travel. Wouldn’t be nice to be contacted by a customer service representative. Tips: No.

Pros: The train was very comfortable and the trip was enjoyable. Cons: Everything seemed fine to me. Tips: Train travel is great! You should try it!

Pros: Everything was great except. Cons: the ticket-lady, I got in on the wrong car (the cafe) and was struggling to move my bags through to get to the passenger car along with another lady in the same predicament. The train staff yelled at both of us-“You can’t put your bags here!)” We were clearly in process of moving them the whole time, but both of us had big bags! It was ridiculous; she could care less and just took the opportunity to be nasty, which was absurd. It would’ve helped to have better instructions about which car to get on, cause in front of the cafe was business, and I didn’t know which car would be coach-which direction to walk on the outside or the inside of the train. Did my best and didn’t get left…,. Tips: Pay attention where to stash your bags and how to know which end of the car your stop allows you to get off at. If you have multiple bags, it is not easy, and there could be more signs or information.

Seats were rear facing, Not good!

I was very pleased with the service and on time schedule of the trains.
