Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: The town and train everyone was so helpful and kind. Our trip was so relaxing, yet fulfilling, we feel we saw and enjoyed so much of Leavenworth, yet there is so much more to still see and enjoyed. And the 3 am ride from Spokane to Leavenworth was so beautiful. We watched the sunrise 🌅. The ride back home was supposed to be at 8 pm. But the train did show up until 9 pm. We were a little freaked out at the little shed we waited at for the train. We were all alone, as it started to get dark and odds and ends of people started to show up. We had hoped people would bring us into their fold. But people were very stand offensive 🙄. The other vacationers, and customers of the train ride were not very welcoming. It was scary to us. But we really want to do it all again. The people, like shop owners, and people of the town were so friendly and welcoming. Loved our new excursion, and would love to enjoy again. Cons: The other vacationers, everyone seemed so in their own space. Liked boxed off in their own sections. But everyone the workers on the train were so nice. Made it worth while. Tips: Awareness the little icicle station is unattended. Kind of scary 😨, the train was late and it got dark.
