The main Amtrak train station is located just a 10-minute walk across the Woonasquatucket River.

Silver Spring is a small town that allows you to unwind and enjoy a simple holiday away from the large cities. It is blessed with amazing green areas and parks, of which the Wheaton Regional Park offers a wonderful playground for children. There are no Amtrak trains that serve Silver Spring. Also, the city does not have its own dedicated airport but its close proximity to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore make it easy to fly in and out of either the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport or the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
