About the Greyhound Bus Station in Houston
The Houston Greyhound Bus Station is at 7000 Harrisburg Boulevard, in Houston’s East End, about 4 miles east of downtown. It has been the city’s Greyhound station since November 2023, when Greyhound moved here from its former terminal at 2121 Main Street in Midtown, which no longer serves coaches.
The station is smaller than the old downtown terminal. Tickets are sold at self-service machines that are open around the clock, and you can also book your trip ahead on Wanderu. Next door, the Magnolia Park Transit Center is the end of the METRORail Green Line, which runs along Harrisburg Boulevard to downtown Houston.
From here, Greyhound coaches run across Texas and to cities such as New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Oklahoma City, as well as to Mexico.
