Amtrak

Cons: The LA -PS trip should be super faster than 2hrs to help travellers as well as fill more seats to make money. Tips: Wifi was on SURFLINER not the Fullerton-PALM SPRINGS portion of the trip.

Amtrak

Pros: Both train and bus were on time and reliable. The Amtrak bus driver was loading the bus as it was waiting at the train station Indicating the bus was on schedule and ready for departure. Cons: Amtrak bus stop in Palm Springs is shared with local Sunline bus line and the seat has been removed. Tips: Don’t expect a seat at the Palm Springs Amtrak bus stop.

31 January 2023- Vacation

Amtrak

Pros: It was so quick and adorable to travel from LA to Palm Springs on the Amtrak. There were also incredibly beautiful views almost the entire ride and it made time go by so much faster. Cons: I think the only suggestion I have as far as improvements go is having more signs posted about where to go and what stop to get off on. There was some confusion with finding the right stop and entrance at first so more informational signs would be helpful. Tips: Book in advance and bring a buddy with you! Also pack lightly if possible because it is not always easy to get your suitcase on and off so the less you have the better in my opinion.

Amtrak Texas Eagle

Pros: I like the Amtrak. It takes you securely from A to B. It's much more relaxed than a bus. Cons: I think they should enforce masked on people who are obviously dealing with a really bad cold or coughs. Tips: Follow the rules, it makes everything so much easier for other passengers and the staff. Please be quiet on the night train until at least 5 AM.
