We had a person on board with mental issues on board . He was causing a scene with outbursts. The driver got him off the bus in Salinas so everyone was safe. He was extremely professional and handled the situation well.

Pros: The scenery and being able to relax and not having to worry about driving. The independence during the trip. I could walk and move around or just sit quietly or sleep. Cons: A bit more cleaning of the tables in the observation car. Possibility to fill your own water bottle with good filtered water. Tips: Be prepared not to rush to your destination. If you are on a special diet take your own food with you.
