Amtrak

Pros: I liked getting a business class seat for cheap. Cons: Include snacks with the fare? And make the wifi actually work. Tips: You do not get to picky about a seat on a full train. You cannot sit with your 5 friends. Sit down and be an adult and you will be sitting with them soon. Additionally if you are going to cough in a condensed crowded little space wear a mask why do so many people enjoy being disgusting??????

Amtrak

Pros: it went to the places i needed. Cons: -don't like the hour long stop in DC -you need to ban phone calls -you need to ban watching videos or listening to music without headphones -basically every car should be the quiet car, and the quiet car should be the silent car. Tips: -Did you know that in Japan it's entirely unacceptable to speak on the phone while on public transit? Pretend we're there. I am so sick of having to hear other people's phone calls when I'm trapped in a confined space. This is not the appropriate venue for your work call, your happy birthday family chat, whatever else. If I have to hear one more "cAn YoU hEaR mE?!?!?!" guess what! They can't! We are inside a concrete tunnel in rural Virginia! No they cannot hear you! Like are you serious?! -If you or your toddler are coughing like a Victorian orphan with TB, consider wearing a mask or not getting on this train because I am not trying to use up a sick day at work because you lack common sense skills!

Pros: Conductors would tell us when we were the next stop. Cons: Being on time perhaps??? Tips: Masks go over your mouth AND your nose, and if you’re a parent don’t travel with kids if you act like a child yourself :).
