Amtrak

Pros: Cheaper than flying, faster and less stressful than driving, nicer than bus. I appreciate the conductors coming through to announce the stops. Staff members are always very kind and pleasant. Cons: I could not hear the announcements at all on the last leg of the journey, so I missed everything about why we were delayed so much and how long we were going to be delayed. On most of the trains I've taken over the past several months, the announcements on the train have been barely audible and garbled. One one train, the announcements were exceptionally loud, which was preferable to not hearing or understanding them at all. I appreciate the conductors coming through to announce the stops.
