Amtrak Empire Service

Pros: I didn’t have to drive! Cons: I didn’t see anyone do any cleaning at all between stops. Especially at this time when pandemic still going on. Tips: Cheaper than driving especially for a solo! Less stress than if you drove! The time actually goes by so much faster! Bring your own food. Buy Amtrak’s cold drinks.

Amtrak Empire Service

Pros: People sat anywhere, no social distancing. I liked the ease of traveling safely on ground and getting to see new places. Cons: Social distancing, let passengers sit 6 ft apart. Better choice of snacks at cafe. Tips: Get insurance for your trip so if you are delayed you can be compensated for your added expenses and discomfort.
