The Amtrak train station in Manassas is right in the heart of the city's historic district. There was a train station at this site since 1852, but the current Victorian structure was built in 1914. Manassas Station is the penultimate stop on the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Manassas Line, which is a commuter rail route from Union Station in D.C. to Broad Run, Virginia.
