Pros: The scenery was beautiful from the observation cart. Also talking to the people on the train made the journey go by super fast. Cons: The staff was a little bit rude to the coach passengers and the seats were not the comfiest to sleep in either. Tips: Bring a blanket and a pillow. It gets quite cold at night in coach.

Cons: better food options on board, more accessibility to boiling water, eyemasks/blankets/earplugs provided. Tips: dont plan on doing work, especially when going through western Montana and Washington. Find the observation car and clock in time there instead :).
