Pros: All Via rail staff were exceptional, from checking in to the actual staff on the train. Tips: If you want to save money bring your own food supplies, we were able to put our little cooler in between train cars and use it as a “fridge”! Also bring instant coffee/ hot chocolate as they will bring you hot water so you can make your own.
VIA Rail is the one and only train line which connects Winnipeg to Churchill. Furthermore, there is only one train per day, so you will have to plan your travel around this limited availability. On the other hand, you won't have to spend a ton of time comparing a bunch of possible options.

VIA Rail runs trains from Winnipeg to Churchill twice a week, and though the journey takes two days, it is worth it for the magnificent views of the Great White North from the train's panoramic dome car.
