Indian Trails

Pros: My initial driver from Houghton was a superstar. Good service, superb updates along the trip, and pleasant to be around. Love that guy. Having a power outlet was crucial for me as I was using my laptop to do homework. Cons: The second driver from Escanaba was unpleasant and high strung, but at least he let us know what was going on. My last driver seemed unhappy and in a hurry, also did not give any intercom updates. Not all of the buses had power outlets. One of the buses only had USB outlets and they didn't even work. Tips: Bring a pillow or a sweatshirt to use as a pillow, the seats are stiff and there are parts which will stick into you if you try and lay on them. Also remember to pack water and snacks. The bus does not stop very often.
