Amtrak Empire Builder

Pros: I've always enjoyed riding the rails and this trip did not disappoint. I specially liked the observation car. We were onboard for 40 hours and chose to NOT get a roomette or room because I felt the cost was to high for the small area for 2 people. Cons: The food service for passengers not dining in the dining car. I feel there should be dining service for regular passengers at different times than the passengers with the rooms. Specially for long distance travelers. Tips: Rail travel is safe and if you have the time to experience traveling a different way.
