Amtrak Cascades

Pros: Access to food/beverages and rest rooms. Cons: Bringing heavy luggage to business class train was difficult. If assistance were offered, it would be great especially for us older travelers. Tips: Find out which way train is traveling before choosing seat.

Amtrak Cascades

Pros: Driver was humorous and very informative on the border-crossing process. Cons: Maybe better instructions for the pickup location at Sea-Tac? We knew more or less where to be, but maybe if there was a physical description of the pickup location that would have helped a bit. Tips: Bring a pen to fill out declaration paperwork if you're crossing the international border! Other than that, this experience was great and the driver was awesome.

Pros: lovely scenery. Cons: Have PA announcers speak much slower. Poor quality sound system plus reverberation could be compensated for through clearer enunciation. Tips: Enjoy the experience.
