Haar is a small town on the eastern outskirts of Munich. Traveling to and staying in Haar is often a much cheaper option than the center of Munich, and you can easily connect to the city on the S-Bahn. Stuttgart Airport is only about 20 minutes outside of the city, so flying is definitely an option, too.
