Pros: Comfortable, on time, spacious seats. Cons: Miami to Tampa Wi Fi was ok, Tampa to Miami there was not Wi Fi at all and there were nobody to ask or tal about. Big fat man in charge of wagon from Tampa to Miami was a little bit rude (clear lack of education) he MUST be retrained or send to retirement!!

The Amtrak Station at 8303 NW 37th Ave in Miami opened in 1978 as the southern destination of Amtrak's Silver Service trains. Parking is available at the station, and at the large waiting area inside, you'll find vending machines, restrooms, and on-site Amtrak customer service staff. The train station is located in the Hialeah area of Miami, just a few blocks from the Tri-Rail and Metrorail Transfer Station, making it easy to connect with public transit lines to other areas of sunny Miami.

Opened in 1912, the Tampa Union Station is a historic train station that currently serves the Amtrak Silver Star train line, which runs from Miami to New York. The beautiful red brick station house features large windows and soaring ceilings. Located in the Channel District of Tampa, Union Station is close to several rental car agencies and has on-site and nearby parking available. Amtrak Thruway bus service stops at Union Station, and Greyhound bus service runs through a bus terminal only .5 miles away on Polk St.
