Pros: This week was abnormal in a good way, we actually arrived in the Bronx on time for the first time since I started taking this specific scheduled trip. I've taken this trip 5 or 6 times now, and this has been the only time that it's been on time to the Bronx. Please keep it up! Cons: Not much this time around, the only main issue I had was that the bus didn't arrive on time because we took long stops at a Burger King. That happened again but for some reason, we still ended up in the Bronx by the scheduled arrival time, so I don't know what happened differently but let's keep it that way! Tips: Be prepared to arrive at the bus stop early to secure your seat. Bring an umbrella or overcoat or something because if it's rainy or cold, there isn't a place to stand under.

Pros: I liked the fact that the bus arrived on time to the first pickup point. Cons: The bus didn't have wifi as advertised, and this is the second CoachRun trip I've taken where they've stopped at a Burger King randomly without any sort of warning, which ended up pushing my arrival in the Bronx back. Tips: Be prepared to pretty much take things as they come, leave a bit of time in order to allow some flexibility upon arrival.

CoachRun

Pros: I liked the fact that outlets and wifi were available, and the staff helped accommodate me when I was unable to catch my first bus. Cons: My Coachrun bus stopped at a Burger King for a very long time. It ended up making me arrive an hour late for a stop which wasn't listed and seemed to have no purpose. Tips: Prepare to arrive as much as an hour late, plan around that and give yourself a little wiggle room in accordance with your time of arrival.

City Information

Boston

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the country, but it is kept young and fresh with the help of over 150,000 students who flock to the city’s prestigious universities every year. Beantown’s many sights and activities celebrate American history, prolific sports teams, and New England seafood. So let's spill the tea (into the harbor, if you will):

Boston's Freedom Trail is the best way to see the city on foot and visit some of the most iconic landmarks of the American Revolution: from Bunker Hill and the USS Constitution to the Old North Church and Faneuil Hall. The Freedom Trail officially begins in Boston Common, the oldest public park in the U.S. and a beautiful spot for walking, picnicking, or ice skating in the winter. Foodies will love tasting the Italian cuisine in the North End and the modern eateries of South End, while sports fans can tour Fenway Park, and art lovers can explore the expansive Museum of Fine Arts.

From Boston, travelers can easily get to the beachy summer destination of Cape Cod, or surrounding states like New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island. With four main train stations and several bus stops in the city, as well as Boston Logan Airport (which, by the way, has some excellent airport food), Boston is a central hub for travel throughout New England and beyond.
