Once an industrial powerhouse, Toledo houses many important cultural institutions in the state of Ohio. The city's premier tourist attraction is the Toledo Museum of Art, which houses important works by world-renowned artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, and Picasso. The museum also has separate sections dedicated to Japanese arts and African arts. Close to the museum itself is The Old West End, a historic quarter with many old buildings and ancient trees more than 100 years old. Indianapolis, or often referred to as just Indy, is the capital and largest city in the state of Indiana. While the city attracts thousands of visitors from the area every month, it is during Memorial Day weekend that Indianapolis becomes the place to be for over 300,000 race car fans from all over the globe.
