BestBus Prime Cancellation Policy

BestBus Prime tickets are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. However, you can place your reservation “on hold” and receive a BestBus travel credit for a future trip, as long as you do so more than 24 hours before the bus is scheduled to depart. To place your reservation on hold, go to BestBus’ website to look up your reservation, and you will have the option of rescheduling your trip or placing the trip on hold. Once your ticket is on hold, you will receive a travel credit which can be used to schedule a new trip with BestBus up until a year after your original purchase date.

BestBus Prime tickets can be easily changed online by following the same process. There is no fee for changing your ticket, but a difference in price would be charged if you exchange your trip for a more expensive ticket. Any changes must be submitted at least 24 hours before the bus’ departure time.

Wanderu also offers an affordable trip protection option by Allianz Global Assistance that you can purchase when booking your tickets. In addition to 24-hour assistance during your trip and other benefits, trip protection can help you get your money back in case you need to cancel or change your BestBus Prime booking. You may file a claim to be reimbursed if you do not travel on your bus trip due to covered reasons such as extreme weather, illness, or required work shifts.
