Wilmington
Wilmington is a major city in Delaware, established at the site of the first Swedish settlement in North America. The charming city, at the confluence of the Brandywine River and Christina River, offers easy connections to the lush countryside of Brandywine Valley. The Roanoke Greyhound Station is right in the heart of the city- not too far from the Amtrak station. The coach stop itself is basically just a waiting room, but it does offer indoor seating and has a few vending machines if you want to stock up on snacks.
