Located in the secluded Bay of Kotor on Montenegro's Adriatic coast, Kotor is a charming city with breathtaking views of Mt. Lovćen. Built between the 12th and 14th centuries, Kotor has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its medieval architecture and historic city walls.

To immerse yourself in the city's history, visit the Old Town and lose yourself in the narrow cobbled streets filled with artisan shops and local cafes and restaurants. Start in one of the town's squares, the biggest of which is Trg od oruzja (Square of Arms), but don't be afraid to get lost in the twisting medieval streets, discovering the cultural monuments, churches, and city walls scattered throughout.

Two international airports offer easy access to Kotor: Tivat Airport (the closer of the two) and Podgorica Airport. The city is also well-connected to neighboring countries via bus, and the bus station is just a short walk from the Old Town.
