Pros: The process was super simple and affordable. The location was a bit tricky to find and the staff was not particularly friendly or helpful but it worked out. Biggest issue was that it was very hot day and the bus barely used its air conditioning, which made the trip quite miserable. Cons: Read above.

Pros: The trip was comfortable — the driver went smoothly and all was good. Cons: I don’t think anything. The bathroom was as clean as it could be. Tips: Bring a charger with a charging block — there are outlets at the seats.

Pros: I really liked how plug and play it was. The bus was there on time, and I arrived 5 minutes prior. Got exactly on time to Philadelphia late at night, just in time to go home and go straight to bed! Cons: There was a sort of incident on the bus. The passengers seemed to be upset the bus owners (not the driver), and the driver was helping diffuse the situation so we could get the trip going. Not sure what caused the incident, but could be worth reviewing the situation. Tips: Try to get there a bit early if you can, and make sure you review all the bus policies before getting on!

Philadelphia

Philadelphia’s affordability (especially compared to other East Coast cities) is just one of many reasons it is among Wanderu’s best destinations for college students. Another reason is how much there is to do! Early American history takes precedence at Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, while museums abound on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, sometimes called the most artistic mile in the city. Head to Reading Terminal Market or join a history and food tour of the Italian Market to fuel up for a night hitting the bars, clubs, and live music joints that line South Street.
