Pros: When I got down on South bend station, it was late evening and there were no people around. The driver waited 3-4 minutes extra till my uber arrived, to make sure I was safe! I appreciate the gesture. One of the co-passenger was using bad words while talking to someone on phone. The driver told him to not use bad words at all. I think its good! Cons: I also have one small bad experience. At the station I inquired about my bus to south bend and came to the correct bus (actually there was only one bus and the lady at the information desk had pointed to this exact bus!). People have warned me of avoiding strangers at Kalamazoo downtown as it is not a safe place in general and in addition to it, I was travelling at late evening. There's not driver in the bus. One person with mask comes walking near the bus and asks me, " Are you going to Chicago?" I responded, "No". He asks, "where are you going?". As I am not sure if he is a random stranger trying to trick me or the driver of the bus, because he is wearing a jacket and I don't see ID card or miller transport logo on his clothes. I asked him, " are you the driver of this bus?". He gets offended and starts scolding me, " Am I going to respond to my questions or you're going to ask me the questions? If you do not answer my questions, I am going to leave you at the station as I depart from here." I am still suspicious if this is the driver or a stranger trying to play smart! The driver could have just responded in "yes" to my question if he was the driver and I would have happily answered all his questions. If drivers will do this kind of behavior, some new traveler like me would not be able to differentiate between the driver and a con man/cheater and might get tricked. Although the driver did 2 good actions (described in previous section) during my journey, I always felt that he was doing good behavior to cover up for his initial bad behavior. Tips: Its nice and affordable.
