Pros: Was an easy ride back from Charlotte. Cons: People not listening to their music or having phone calls on speakerphone. Nobody is interested in hearing your personal conversations or music that I'm not interested in.

Pros: Scenery Comfort Roomy seats, leg room, and storage for bags Efficient, ease Friendly staff Didn’t have to drive and fight traffic!! Cons: The train station in Charlotte could use some updates!! Interestingly, when I have gotten on Amtrak train in Cary, we are given seat assignments and we were not in Charlotte. I felt like the line in the train station was a little pushy, and people were trying hard to be first. Tips: Try it- you will love it! I sometimes wish that they were more direct train routes to other places I want to go, because I am really tired of flying. Airports are such a hassle now, and the airplane seats are unbelievably uncomfortable and don’t feel health safe. I am retired, and if there were efficient routes, I would take the train more often than flying. Every Amtrak employee I have met has been So friendly and helpful.
